It controls air flow and prevents water intrusion, helping your insulation perform better and your HVAC system run more efficiently. The result is lower energy bills and more money in your pocket!

  The Home Energy Rating System® (HERS) is a nationally recognized scoring system that measures a home’s energy efficiency. Developed by the Residential Energy Services Network® (RESNET), the HERS® Index provides a score to help homeowners, builders, and buyers understand a home’s energy efficiency. A Gardner home scores 35% more energy efficient than other new home builds of the same size!

Every Bosch appliance installed in a Gardner Home is a check in all the boxes–high quality, lower energy costs, and more time for fun (out of the kitchen)!

  AMSCO® windows are ENERGY STAR® certified for meeting the strict guidelines established by the EPA and the US Department of Energy. Low-E glass has an applied coating designed to keep in infrared light for colder climates. That means your home stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter – saving energy and money!

  As an ENERGY STAR® partner, Gardner Homes follows best practices in properly sealing exterior openings, including penetrations for piping, wiring, lighting, and duct work. Reducing the amount of air that leaks in and out of the home is a cost-effective way to cut heating and cooling costs, improve durability, increase comfort, and create a healthier indoor environment.
